keyJ konami code (andy shirey of RJX) blends original beats, nostalgic soundtrack themes, spoof-slapstick samples, and funky-fresh tracks that just “need more keytar” into a nascissizzling game of ipod play-along. deeply held beliefs in suburban youth air guitar inspiration, the supremacy of 80s pop culture, a mandate to melt faces with ivory, and the leisurely logistics of pre-mixed DJ set performance have all contributed to bringing this odd but obvious “keyboard karaoke” project to an actual stage. collect 30 extra lives upon completion – nice exchange rate against those 1-up mario mushrooms =D
Showtime: saturday 5/16 @ 9 pm (Frying Pan stage)
Some original tracks spun up in Logic Pro 8:
